As the game has no native progressive support, the PS3 has trouble de-interlacing. Some areas are fine but others like places with heavy bloom lighting or if too many items/enemies are on screen, the mishandled de-interlacing is very distracting. Perpendicular textures like footpaths, support beams, menu boxes and text are heavily affected. Game also runs at a lower framerate compared to a PS2.

This game supports not only 480p Output (which works fine) but also 1080i output for the NTSC-J Version only but similar to the Game Tourist Trophy, it has several problems showing the 1080i output correctly.<br/>

On an official Backwards Compatible (BC) PS3 Fat, similar problems show like glitched graphics (disabling PS2 Smoothing can fix this) and the game refuses to load game files any further on video sequences. You can fix this by pressing the PS-Button so it loads the files in the background but it has to be done every 10 seconds.<br/>

It seems the PS3 has either RAM management issues with loading the game properly and/or issues while loading the game files from the disc itself on this 1080i mode because the game itself shows an error message that it can't load the files properly. Same error appears when you remove the disc on a real PS2.<br/> 

On Slim PS3, the video signal gets lost on both HDMI and component cable when switching to 1080i mode so PS3 needs a forced shutdown.</small>
